Sandrine Holt is the daughter of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. She was born in London to her Chinese mother and a French father. Toronto Canada has been home for her since the age of five. She began as a Paris catwalk model, but later decided to make a profession of acting. Her first film role was Annuka, in Black Robe (1991). In this role, she was nominated for The Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. Then, in 2006 she got a more prominent series role in the series 24 Twenty Four. Twenty Four. Holt began her career with small guest appearances and smaller part-time roles in the series. The year 2013 was the first time she took on the lead role of Hostages and was also cast as a supporting character on the Netflix series House of Cards. In The Returned, the US remake of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was as well cast in Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
